First day of school...

Sam is growing up so fast. He started preschool on Tuesday...yes, it is 3/4 of the way through the year, but part of his motivation behind getting potty trained was that he would get to go to school. He was so excited to go! He couldn't wait to try out his new Thomas the Train backpack and to be able to play with all of his new friends....

The preschool is at the Youth Center here on base...
He had a great first day. The only comment the teacher made was that he likes to hug and kiss alot and that he needed to work on asking before he did that...we're working on that, but I am pretty happy to have such a loving little boy...

A day with Thomas...

Last weekend we drove out to Fillmore, CA to spend the day with Thomas the Train. Sam is a HUGE fan of Thomas and he was thrilled when he saw him! We took a ride on him and then played with the train tables and looked at all of the old railroad cars on display at the train museum.

Both of the boys loved the train ride...

There were train tables set up all over the place...Sam had fun jumping from one to the next...

He was first in line to meet Sir Topham Hatt!

Finally...some pictures from Easter...

The little ones here are of Sam singing in the kids' choir at church. He was so cute and we were so proud of him getting up on the big stage. He didn't actually sing, he pretty much just stood there like a statue, but he still did a great job! I would make the picture bigger if I knew how...unfortunately I have no clue how to do that...sorry!

This was Micah wearing my sunglasses after coloring Easter eggs....

The beautiful tie-dyed eggs....Nannie and Sam worked very hard on them.

After church on Sunday we had some friends over for an Easter egg hunt and dinner...the kids had a great time with it...

Cory and Adam seemed to have fun too...

Mud

It was a very warm day here yesterday, so I thought the boys might like to run around in the sprinkler for a while... As it turns out neither of them cared the least bit about the water...but they had a blast with the mud puddle that formed next to the house...

This is Sam's idea of "cleaning the house"...

New Kicks

We took the boys shoe shopping yesterday. They are growing up so fast...and they are definitely becoming two very cool dudes.
