Bye, Bye Preschool...

Today was a very big day in our house: Sam graduated from preschool. My big boy will be starting Kindergarten in the fall.

It was a great ceremony and it was amazing to see just how much he has changed over the past school year. My shy boy actually stood on stage and sang loud enough for me to hear him about 10 rows back...that is very different for him. He has had a wonderful time with his friends and teachers and has grown in so many ways...

Fireman Micah Turns 3

Micah is all about fire trucks, so it was only natural for us to have a fire-station themed party.

He was in heaven surrounded by trucks and helmets and real live firemen!

We started out visiting our local fire station...

The firemen were great with the kids and let them climb around all the trucks...

They even got to try on the gear...

After the station, we headed home for games and cake...

Pin the badge on the fire dog turned out to be quite easy for our little cheaters...

But, the pinata proved to be a challenge...

We ended with a fire truck cake...it was definitely a memorable day for the little man...

Soccer

A couple of weeks ago Sam started soccer at the YMCA. While he hasn't quite figured out the actual concept of the game, he is having an amazing time meeting new friends and running around in circles on the field.

By the end of the hour he was done and just laid himself down in the middle of the field...

Gotta love spring...

It's spring in New England. Everything is green and the flowers are blooming. We've been having quite a bit of fun in our new backyard and the boys are right at home with all this dirt to dig in...

Mystic Aquarium

Last month we surprised the boys with a visit to Mystic Aquarium...we had a wonderful family day. They loved seeing all of the animals and exploring all sorts of new things.
